Understanding Hyperbitcoinization
The total supply of Bitcoin is capped at 21 million BTC. Here, this fixed supply serves as a measure of all the wealth in the world. The conversion below has nothing to do with the current BTC-USD exchange rate. Instead, it's a way to express the value of things in BTC, considering the total global wealth with Bitcoin as the measuring unit. This may indeed represent the true price of things after hyperbitcoinization.
Note: Global asset values are updated monthly to reflect the most current economic data.
How the Hyperbitcoinization Calculation Works
Main Calculation: The conversion is based on a simple proportion: if 21 million BTC represent all global assets (~$901 trillion USD), then any value can be expressed as a fraction of this total.
Formula:
• BTC per USD = 21,000,000 ÷ $901,000,000,000,000
• Satoshis per USD = BTC per USD × 100,000,000
Currency Conversion: For non-USD currencies, we first convert to USD using real-time exchange rates (updated hourly), then apply the BTC formula. For example: 100 EUR → ~117 USD → BTC/sats. This ensures all values are normalized to the same global assets reference.
